Outdoor accessories make a difference in your enjoyment of outdoor activities. This is especially true when the weather isn’t just right—which is often! At least in most parts of the US.
Have the right sunglasses, hat, gloves or socks and you can forget about everything except how much you’re enjoying your outdoor activity.
On the other hand, ignore your head, face, hands and feet and you may be so distracted by your lack of comfort that you can’t enjoy your activity. That’s a real bummer.
Like all gear, these accessories add up pretty fast—and can be surprisingly expensive. So start with the necessities and don’t worry about having one in every color. If you buy quality (and price isn’t always a good indicator!) they’ll perform better and last longer.
I’ll share the items I’ve used that have stood the test of time and weather especially well. Let’s hear your suggestions too: firstname.lastname@example.org
