Outdoor accessories — what you wear on your head and your hands…socks…waist packs…sunglasses — can really make a difference in your enjoyment of outdoor activities.
Whether they’re for heat, cold, wind, wet…these gear items can help you forget about the elements and enjoy your activity. Without them, you may find it impossible to enjoy yourself because you’re battling the elements and losing.
Like all gear, buying accessories can add up pretty fast. So start with the necessities and don’t worry about having one in every color (unless you have money to burn, of course).
I’ll share the items I’ve used that have stood the test of time and weather especially well. We’d love to hear your suggestions too.
